Video editing is the combination of multiple sources of video footage to form a final segment of footage. Old holiday videos, birthday parties or sporting events can be transformed from a 4 hour epic to a 30 minute highlight package. The original footage will remain intact, whilst copies of the relevant footage are blended together with the original sound or the introduction of a brand new sound scape resulting in the finished product.

DVD Authoring is the creation of a DVD by using finished video footage in conjunction with a menu system. A DVD can have :

§ Chapter points (enabling the user to quickly locate desired points of footage within the DVD)
§ Static or animated backgrounds
§ Different Audio options
§ Looped background music
§ One color images showing the selected item on the menu.

The DVD format can be easily duplicated and will last a long time without a reduction in quality.

How do you get a quote?

1. By sending me an e-mail on the contacts page I can see you are interested.
2. From there I will either e-mail you back or call you on the phone to further investigate in more depth your requirements.
3. If a meeting is required a FREE 2 hour consultation can be arranged to further clarify the specifications for this project.
4. After I have come to an understanding of your specifications, I can present you with a quote outling what needs to be done to achieve your requirements.

How do you get the project started?

If you accept the quote amount I will kindly ask you to read and sign :

1. STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADE AGREEMENT
2. PAYMENT SCHEDULE AGREEMENT

Once both of these forms are signed and delivered to me, a 25% deposit of the total quote amount will need to be paid. Once these fund are received I will proceed immediately to work on your project.

During the development of the project we will have regular communication via telephone,e-mail or face to face meetings. If during this time NEW requirements are added to the project, they will be charged out at the STANDARD RATE and added on to the final cost of the project.

All work performed is logged into a database, which in turn allows a minute by minute breakdown of the work done on your project. (PDF format only)

Depending on the scale of the project, previews of the project can be uploaded to youtube.com for private viewing. If the project is too large for viewing on the internet, a DVD can be sent via express post for your immediate viewing.
